Frequently Asked Questions

Please read our brief (or full) FAQ before sending us a message.

At JayBella Designs, there is one flat rate for postage – ZERO!

The price you see is the price you pay.  There is no VAT (I’m a hobbyist and not a business) included in the price and the purchase price includes delivery costs.

Our payment gateway is provided by Square who provide industry standard ‘end to end’ encrypted merchant services.  JayBella Designs DO NOT store any of you financial information.  When you present items for payment, Square merchant services gather your payment details and process the transaction for you on my behalf.

In recent months, the Law has changed in respect to distance shopping so please don’t be too alarmed if your bank conducts their own security or validation checks whilst conducting the sale through the Square interface.

Square accept payment from Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro and Payu.  There are no extra charges for making payment via Square.

Should an order be recived before 2pm on a weekday, I shall aim to have the item(s) packages and despatched the same day.

Items are sent via Royal Mail first class post.  Unfortunately, once posted, I have no control of delivery times.  Royal Mail indicate on their website that they aim to deliver first class mail on the next working day (but, as ever, their website has some fine print which further defines their service so you may want to check that out if any items appear to be delayed).

The JayBella Designs website is protected by secure connections to our customer’s computers. You may notice the HTTPS at the start of the web address or maybe the padlock icon which appears.

This just means that from the moment you visit the website to when you leave, all data you send as well as the data you receive cannot be interfered with throughout it’s journey.  The only way data can be at risk is if the website fails to connect via HTTPS (your browser would give you a stern warning if this secure link breaks).  All data you transmit and receive will be secured via the secure connection – so don’t worry.

Once your order has been placed and accepted, the item(s) will be carefully packaged up and posted via Royal Mail first class.  The website will send you a message to confirm the order has been received.

Once an order has been fulfilled, a cofirmation message will be sent to your email address (so be sure to type your email address in correctly).  I do not charge VAT as I am not VAT registered but, should you specifically need an invoice, use the contact form and one will be produced for you.
